A crisp alpine white, Coteaux du Grésivaudan from Domaine Finot is made from Chardonnay grown on steep, limestone-rich slopes. The 2024 vintage is unoaked and bright, offering green apple, lemon zest, and pear with a floral hint of white blossom. Domaine Finot has tended these alpine vines for five generations, practicing sustainable farming on the terraced hillsides overlooking the Isère River.
Each sip brings a light, zesty body and a mouthwatering, mineral-driven finish from the cool mountain climate. Unlike heavier Burgundies, this is leaner and racier, with subtle notes of crushed stone and fresh herbs. The wine sees only stainless steel, preserving its crisp, youthful energy.
Serve chilled at 8°C as an aperitif or with lake fish, goat cheese, or salads. Perfect alongside perch fillets, vegetable quiche, or light poultry dishes. A vibrant, thirst-quenching taste of Isère’s hidden vineyards.
