The Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux AOC, L’Hètre, is a powerful yet elegant red wine from one of Bordeaux’s rising appellations. With rich aromas of dark fruits, plums, and a hint of cedar, this wine is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish.
This wine pairs well with roasted lamb, beef stews, or strong cheeses. Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux, located just east of Saint-Émilion, offers excellent value wines with structure and depth, reflecting the same clay-limestone soils as its more famous neighbour.
